Tour St. Peter's Church
Just a 2 minute walk away from Town Hall Square is St. Peter's Church. This is Riga's tallest church and offers a breathtaking view over the city.
Visit House of the Blackheads
In Town Hall Square is a museum known as House of the Blackheads. It was built as a guild for unmarried merchants, shipowners, and foreigners in the 14th century.

Central Market is a big market in Riga's center. It is a great place to try different Latvian foods!
Walk Through the Swedish Gate
This medieval gate was created in 1698 as a part of the Riga wall to allow soldiers to step outside their barracks.
Visit the Art Nouveau Museum
Riga was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its great use of Art Nouveau architecture. This entire street in Riga displays beautiful buildings.
Ethnographic Open Air Museum
Located just outside of Riga is the Ethnographic Open Air Museum. This is a great place to learn some history of Latvia and to better understand their culture.
Hang out at Jūrmala
West of the city, along the Gulf of Riga, is a cute resort town called Jūrmala. Here you can relax on the beach and catch a spectacular sunset.
On the edge of old town, is this beautiful green park along the river you can relax.
Latvian National Opera
Just pass the park, is the beautiful Latvian Opera house. Even if you do not attend an opera, it is a beautiful building to visit.
Latvian National Museum of Art
This museum houses a collection of Baltic art from the 18th century up to present day.
Grab a Beer at the Armoury Bar
After wandering all day, this is a great place to relax and have a Latvian beer. The Armoury Bar offers a great selection of beer and whiskey, along with an interesting display of old guns.
